HG/T 4290-2012 is the English-translated version of 工业用2-丁胺（仲丁胺）.
HG/T 4290-2012 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for 2-butylamine, also called sec-butylamine, in its industrial grade. It fixes the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport, storage and safety. The material within its scope is the sec-butylamine obtained by the ammoniation of butanol and of methyl ethyl ketone. GB 190, GB/T 3143, GB/T 3723, GB/T 6283, GB/T 6678, GB/T 8170 and GB/T 23961 are quoted in it and applied together with it. It carries Chinese classification G17 and international classification 71.080.60. Issued on 24 May 2012, it has applied since 1 November 2012.
