HG/T 4226-2011 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China for solid molecular sieve drier cores used with refrigerants. It gives the terminology and the classification of these filter-drier cores and lays down the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for packaging, labelling, storage and transport. It applies to molecular sieve drying filter products whose main duty is to dry the refrigerant in refrigeration systems of various types. The quoted documents are GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 6287 and ASTM 97-2000. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
