HG/T 4082-2009 is the recommended chemical industry standard that carries the technical specification for high power, high speed planetary gear units. It gives the technical requirements for the design, manufacture, trial running, acceptance, marking, packaging, transport and storage of the gear box. It applies to involute high speed planetary gear boxes used in metallurgy, mining, aviation, shipbuilding, turbine plant, textiles, chemicals and the food industry, with power below 6000 kW, a sun wheel pitch circle speed of 25 m/s to 70 m/s and a centre height of not more than 600 mm. Gear, material and component documents such as GB/T 1356, GB/T 3077, GB/T 9239.1, GB/T 10095.1, GB/T 10095.2, JB/T 5000.15 and JB/T 8421 are quoted. Issued on 5 February 2009, it has applied since 1 July 2009.
