Scope
HG/T 3959-2007 is the English-translated version of 色酚AS-PH.
HG/T 3959-2007 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for Naphthol AS-PH. It states the requirements for the product and prescribes sampling, test methods and inspection rules together with marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage, and it governs the quality inspection of the material. Naphthol AS-PH is used chiefly in the manufacture of pigments and in the dyeing and printing of cotton fibre. Its analysis is carried out with the solutions and water of GB/T 601, GB/T 603 and GB/T 6682, and GB/T 1250, GB/T 2381, GB/T 2384 and GB/T 6678 are also quoted. Issued on 20 July 2007, it has applied since 1 January 2008.
