HG/T 3847-2008 is the English-translated version of 硬质橡胶 马丁耐热温度的测定.
HG/T 3847-2008 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China that lays down how the Martens heat resistance temperature of ebonite is measured. The property indicates the temperature at which a hard rubber specimen deforms under a fixed bending load, and the standard defines the procedure for obtaining it. Its scope takes in hard rubber of the medium-resistant, heat-resistant and impact-resistant kinds together with other hard rubber grades. The text is a modified adoption of GOST 21341-1975 and quotes GB/T 2941; it is classified G40 in the Chinese system and 83.060 internationally. It supersedes HG/T 3847-2006. Issued on 1 February 2008, it has applied since 1 July 2008.
