HG/T 3731-2023 is the English-translated version of 非金属化工设备玻璃纤维增强聚氯乙烯复合管和管件.

Glass fibre reinforced polyvinyl chloride composite pipes and fittings for non-metallic chemical equipment are covered by HG/T 3731-2023, a recommended chemical industry standard. It deals with the raw materials, the design, the manufacture, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transport, storage and accompanying documents. It applies to pipes and fittings with a rigid polyvinyl chloride or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride thermoplastic lining, an unsaturated polyester or epoxy vinyl ester resin matrix and glass fibre yarn or fabric as reinforcement, in nominal diameters from 20 mm to 1200 mm and at design pressures up to 1.6 MPa. The working temperature runs from -5 °C to 70 °C with a PVC-U lining and from -5 °C to 95 °C with a PVC-C lining. It supersedes HG/T 3731-2004 and took effect on 1 February 2024.

This standard specifies the raw materials, design, manufacturing, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and accompanying documents of glass fiber reinforced polyvinyl chloride composite pipes and fittings. This standard applies to rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) thermoplastic as the lining, unsaturated polyester resin, epoxy vinyl ester resin as the matrix, and glass fiber Yarn or its fabric is a reinforcing material, with a nominal diameter greater than or equal to 20mm to 1200mm. Working temperature: -5��~70�� when lined with PVC-U, -5�� when lined with PVC-C ~95��; glass fiber reinforced polyvinyl chloride composite pipes and fittings with design pressure less than or equal to 1.6MPa.
