Scope

HG/T 3575-2006 is the English-translated version of 蛇纹石矿石分析方法.

Serpentine ore is the subject of HG/T 3575-2006, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry given over entirely to its analysis. The document prescribes the methods for determining silica, magnesium oxide, calcium oxide, iron oxide, aluminium oxide and nickel oxide in the ore, together with the loss on ignition and the adsorbed water content. Those procedures are written for serpentine ore products, and the figures they yield describe the composition of a delivered lot. Reagent preparation and laboratory water follow GB/T 601 and GB/T 6682. The 1986 edition, HG/T 3575-1986, is withdrawn by this one. Issued on 26 July 2006, it has applied since 1 March 2007.
