HG/T 3557-2001 is the English-translated version of 感光材料均一性的测定.
The uniformity of photographic materials is the subject of HG/T 3557-2001, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It specifies the method by which the uniformity of silver halide photosensitive material is determined. The standard covers black and white film and silver-based colour film, and other silver halide photosensitive materials exposed to tungsten light or daylight may also be measured by it; photosensitive materials exposed to special non-tungsten sources such as lasers or fluorescent light fall outside its scope. The record gives 24 January 2002 as the date of issue and 1 July 2002 as the date it took effect, and shows it as replacing HG/T 3557-1986.

This standard applies to black and white and silver system color film, other incandescent tungsten and daylight exposure of the silver halide photosensitive material can also be applied.
