Scope
HG/T 3556-2012 is the English-translated version of 一氧化碳低温变换催化剂.
HG/T 3556-2012 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China for low-temperature carbon monoxide shift catalysts. It states the requirements for the B202, B204, B206 and B207 types and for other catalysts of the same kind, and gives the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions covering marking, packaging, storage and transport. The catalysts concerned are those used in ammonia production. GB/T 191, GB/T 6678, GB/T 8170 and HG/T 2782 are the standards it refers to. It takes over from HG 3556-2004, a mandatory standard, so the requirements now carry recommended status. Issued on 28 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
