HG/T 3414-2010 is the English-translated version of 2-萘酚-6，8-二磺酸二钾盐（G盐）.
HG/T 3414-2010 is the recommended chemical industry standard for 2-naphthol-6,8-disulfonic acid dipotassium salt, the dye intermediate known in the trade as G salt. It states the requirements for the salt and describes sampling, the test methods, the inspection rules and the handling of marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage, so that the product can be checked against a single specification. As an intermediate rather than a finished colour it is classified G56 in the Chinese system, with ICS 71.100.01 and 87.060.10. The analytical work refers to GB/T 2386, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682 and GB/T 8170. This edition takes the place of HG/T 3414-2002. Issued on 22 November 2010, it has applied since 1 March 2011.
