Foreword

This standard replaces HG/T 3105-1987 "Vitreous and porcelain enamels for sheet

steel-Production of specimens for testing".

This standard refers to ISO 2723-1995 "Vitreous and porcelain enamels for sheet steel

- Production of specimens for testing".

Compared with HG/T 3105-1987, the main changes of this standard are as follows:

- ADD the requirements for materials;

- ADD the requirements for the uniformity of vitreous and porcelain enamels;

- ADD the DC spark requirement.

This standard was proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.

This standard shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Technical

Committee for Glass-lined Equipment.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the preparation methods and requirements for sheet steel

specimens, which are used to determine the physical and chemical properties of vitreous

and porcelain enamels for sheet steel.

This standard applies to the preparation of vitreous and porcelain enamels for sheet steel.
