Scope
HG/T 2972-2017 is the English-translated version of 工业用一甲胺.
HG/T 2972-2017 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for monomethylamine of industrial grade. It gives the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for the product, and it also covers marking, packaging, transport, storage and safety. Two forms fall within its scope: anhydrous monomethylamine and monomethylamine supplied as a 40% aqueous solution. It quotes GB 190, GB 5100, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6680, GB/T 8170, GB 18191 and GB/T 30303-2013. It takes over from HG/T 2972-1999. Issued on 7 July 2017, it has applied since 1 January 2018.
