Scope

HG/T 2554-2011 is the English-translated version of 柔软剂SG.

HG/T 2554-2011 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for softening agent SG. It lays down the technical requirements for the product, the sampling and test methods, the inspection rules, and the marking, packaging, transport and storage. The agent it covers is the softener SG prepared by condensing stearic acid with ethylene oxide, used mainly as a softening and lubricating additive in synthetic fibre spinning. GB/T 6283, GB/T 6368, GB/T 8170 and HG/T 3505 are quoted. The standard replaces HG/T 2554-1993. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
