HG/T 2343-2012 is the English-translated version of 硫化促进剂ETU.
HG/T 2343-2012 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for vulcanization accelerator ETU, the rubber accelerator known chemically as 1,2-ethylenethiourea. It fixes the requirements for the product and describes the test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its scope reaches the grade manufactured with carbon disulfide and ethylenediamine as the principal raw materials. It is classified G71 and 71.100.40. The analytical work leans on GB/T 191, GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 6679, GB/T 6682, GB/T 8170 and GB/T 11409. It replaces the 1992 edition, HG/T 2343-1992. Issued on 28 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
