HG/T 2281-2014 is the English-translated version of 次硫酸氢钠甲醛(雕白块).
HG/T 2281-2014 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate, the product also known as rongalite. It gives the requirements for the product, the sampling and the test methods, and it lays down the inspection rules together with the provisions for marks, labels, packaging, transport and storage. Its purpose is the quality control of sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate as delivered. The test work is supported by GB/T 601, GB/T 603-2002, GB/T 6678-2003, GB/T 6680-2003 and GB/T 6682-2008, with GB/T 8170-2008 applied to the treatment of results. It replaces the 2006 edition, HG/T 2281-2006. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
