Scope

HG/T 2171-2007 is the English-translated version of 阴图型PS版.

HG/T 2171-2007 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for negative-working presensitized offset plates, the PS plates used in lithographic printing. It states their technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, and the provisions for packaging, labelling, storage and transport. The standard applies to negative-working PS plates built on a grained and anodized aluminium support, and it is written for plates exposed in a contact vacuum frame and processed on continuous drying machines and automatic developing machines. It quotes GB/T 191, GB/T 6682, GB/T 6388, GB/T 6544, GB/T 17155 and HG/T 2694-2003. It replaces HG/T 2171-1991. Issued on 13 April 2007, it has applied since 1 October 2007.
