HG/T 21641-2013 is the Chinese chemical industry code for the factory prefabrication of metal piping. It gives the technical requirements for prefabricating pipework for chemical and petrochemical plants, covering the design stage, the prefabrication itself, inspection, testing and the conditions under which the finished work is delivered. Its scope is bounded by an upper limit on design pressure. Work under the code refers to GB 50184-2011, GB 50235-2010, GB 231, HG/T 20519, HG/T 20549 and JB/T 4730. Placed under the Chinese classification P72 and ICS 71.020, it was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
