1 Scope

GB/Z 41395-2022 is the Chinese national standard on safety requirements for woodworking tools - clamping devices, in the field of wood technology. The /Z suffix marks it as a guiding technical document: it does not prescribe requirements that can be certified against, but sets out the technique, the method or the state of the art that the standards bodies recommend following. It was issued on 12 October 2022 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China. 3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18955-2003 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 shank The holding part of the tool.

3.2 Shank mountedtool Shank milling cutter. Also includes milling cutters with holes mounted or clamped on couplings, mandrels.

Note. The hole is part of the tool and is used for positioning and locking of shafts, mandrels, etc.
