1 Scope

This guidance document specifies mnemonics for measuring relays, measuring instruments and associated equipment symbols. These devices are used in substations,

Monitoring, control and protection systems for power stations, power usage and conversion facilities.

This guidance document applies to the design, manufacture and use of the above systems.

The graphical symbols of the measuring relays and measuring instruments have two functions, namely.

--- Specification of standardized mnemonics;

--- Limit the range of possible changes.
