Foreword

This instructional document has been drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This Guidance Document shall be redrafted to amend IEC Guide 113.2000, Basic Guidance for Material Declaration Questionnaire.

The guidance of technical documents and IEC Guide 113.2000 "Material Declaration Questionnaire Basic Guide" in the structural adjustment see appendix A, the main technical differences are as follows.

--- Chapter 1 removed the "This standard is not normative" description, and added "The guidance of technical documents applicable to electrical and electronic production Material statement questionnaire production. "Part;

--- Delete the original content of Chapter 2, and adjust the follow-up chapter number.

The following editorial changes have also been made in this guidance document.

1 Scope

Recycling or disposing of environmentally safe products is an important aspect of product environmental protection. Only understand the product contains Material and its potential health and environmental hazards based on the re-use and disposal of product safety is possible. Therefore, the manufacturer should know the environmental substances contained in their products, as well as the distribution and concentration of these substances, are provided to those who need them. This Guidance Document is a material declaration questionnaire designed to guide the production of products as part of the purchase instructions. This guidance the purpose of the technical paper is to increase the consistency and comparability of the different questionnaires, which helps to reduce costs for both sending and answering questionnaires.

However, it should be noted that it is not possible to completely unify the material declaration due to the different needs of the questionnaire and the ever-changing list of restricted substances Questionnaire.

2 Procedures for developing a material declaration questionnaire

According to the product, demand, level of secrecy, etc., the material declaration may take different forms and be decided by the parties concerned.
