3.1 Overview

The items described in the "Requirements" mentioned in this chapter should be implemented in the developed CC-LinkSafety interface.

The CC-LinkSafety protocol uses the same physical and data link layers as the CC-Link protocol. Correspondingly, CC-LinkSafety the interface has the same configuration as the CC-Link interface, and its hardware structure is as shown in the example in Figure 1.

If you can complete the CC-LinkSafety protocol according to the data transmission, the hardware structure of the interface need not be implemented in accordance with Figure 1. another You can also use large scale integrated circuits (LSIs) to develop interfaces.
