Scope

GB/Z 29014.100-2024 is the English-translated version of 切削刀具数据表达与交换 第100部分:参考字典的定义、原则和方法.

GB/Z 29014.100-2024 is the methodological part of the cutting tool data series: it does not define any tools, it defines how the dictionaries that define tools are to be built. The other parts each publish a reference dictionary - for drills, for milling cutters, for assembly items - and those dictionaries are only interoperable if they were constructed the same way: identifiers allocated by a stated scheme so they are globally unique and stable, properties defined once and reused rather than redefined per class, classes organised so that a property inherited from a parent means the same thing in every child, and a versioning discipline that lets a dictionary grow without invalidating data already exchanged against it. This part specifies the principles and procedures for establishing a computer-readable dictionary containing unique identifiers and definitions of tool description items and their characteristics, as a method for referencing the information model defined in GB/Z 29014.1. As a GB/Z it is a guiding technical document. Under ICS 35.240.50 and CCS J41, it is written for those maintaining tool reference dictionaries, for tooling manufacturers publishing conformant catalogue data, and for the software vendors consuming it.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document is part 100 of GB /Z 29014 "Cutting tool data representation and exchange". GB /Z 29014 has published the following part.

1.Overview, basic principles and general information model;

2.Reference dictionary for cutting items;

3.Tool item reference dictionary;

4.Adaptation item reference dictionary;

5.Assembly item reference dictionary;

--- Part 100: Definitions, principles and methods of reference dictionaries. This document replaces GB /Z 29014-2012 "Definitions, principles and methods of reference dictionary for expression and exchange of cutting tool data" and Compared with GB /Z 29014-2012, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope of application of the standard has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2012 edition);

b) Deleted the description of "list class, collection class, package class and array class" (see

4.5.2.1 of the.2012 edition);

c) Changed the part of "project class" in "description of class" to "class" (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the.2012 edition);

d) Added the concept description of "project category" and "feature category" (see 5.1,

5.1 of the.2012 edition);

1 Scope

This document specifies the principles and procedures for establishing a computer-readable dictionary containing unique identifiers and definitions of tool description items and their characteristics. Method for reference of the information model defined in GB /Z 29014.1. This document applies to.

--- Specification of data element types and their identification, semantics and value attributes;

--- Specification of item classes and their identification and semantic attributes;

--- Specification of feature class identifiers and semantic attributes. This document does not apply to.

--- Information model of cutting tools;

--- Classification and definition of items and data element types involved in cutting tools;

---The association between items and characteristics in a classification. Note

1.The definition of the information model of cutting tools is given in GB /Z 29014.1. Note

2.For the classification of cutting tools, the definition of items and data element types, and the association between items and characteristics, see GB /Z 29014.2, GB /Z 29014.3, GB /Z 29014.4, ISO /T S13399-50 and ISO /T S13399-60.
