Scope

GB/Z 114.2-2026 is the English-translated version of 纳米制造 技术规范 纳米储能 第2部分:空白详细规范 电化学电容器用电极片.

GB/Z 114.2-2026, the second part of the Chinese guidance series on nano-enabled energy storage, is identical to IEC TS 62565-5-2:2022 and provides a blank detail specification for the electrodes of electrochemical capacitors.

It covers electrodes made with nanomaterials such as nanoporous activated carbon, graphene, carbon nanotubes and carbon black for double-layer capacitors and pseudocapacitors.

Characteristics are grouped into chemical, physical, structural and electrochemical sets, with measurement procedures ranging from Karl Fischer water content, ash and magnetic impurities to peel strength, contact angle, resistivity, specific capacitance, leakage current, cycle life and internal resistance.

Values are left blank for customer and supplier to agree, and irrelevant items may be marked not applicable. It was issued on 28 January 2026.

Foreword

This document is a standard or guiding technical document.

This document is in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting is scheduled.

This document is Part 2 of GB /Z 114 "Nano Manufacturing Technology Specification for Nano Energy Storage". GB /Z 114 has published the following... part.

---Part 1: Blank Detailed Specification for Nanoporous Activated Carbon for Electrochemical Capacitors;

---Part 2: Blank Detailed Specification for Electrode Sheets for Electrochemical Capacitors This document is equivalent to IEC TS62565-5-2:2022 "Specification for Nanomaterials for Manufacturing - Part 5-2.Nanomaterials for Electrochemical Capacitors".

The document type of "Detailed Specification for Blank Energy Storage Electrode Sheets" has been changed from an IEC technical specification to a national standardization guidance document in my country. document.

The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.

---To align with existing standards, the document name has been changed to "Nanomanufacturing Technology Specification for Nanoenergy Storage Part 2: Blank Details" "Detailed Specifications for Electrode Sheets for Electrochemical Capacitors";

---The definition of the term "acquisition stream" has been corrected (see 3.3.9);

---The phrase "thin film bending test method" is corrected to "coating film cylindrical bending test method" (see Tables 3 and 6);

---Correct the SML of the contact angle to 1 (see Table 6).

Introduction

The GB /Z 114 series of documents, "Technical Specifications for Nanotechnology and Nanoenergy Storage", consists of the following two parts.

---Part 1: Blank Detailed Specification for Electrochemical Capacitors Using Nanoporous Activated Carbon. The purpose is to determine how to report electrochemical... Key Controlled Characteristics (KCCs) of Nanoporous Activated Carbon for Capacitors, and How to Incorporate These Characteristics into Supplier and User Processes The bilateral detailed specifications between the parties also provide measurement methods and relevant information on current standards for determining the KCC of electrochemical capacitors.

It provides detailed specifications for writers, outlining requirements for format, layout, and minimum content.

---Part 2: Blank Detailed Specification for Electrode Sheets in Electrochemical Capacitors. The purpose is to determine how to report on electrode sheets used in electrochemical capacitors.

The various KCCs of electrode sheets, and how to incorporate these characteristics into detailed bilateral specifications between suppliers and users, are also provided.

This document describes the measurement methods for KCC on electrode pads and provides relevant information on current standards. It also offers formatting, arrangement, and most recent specifications for those writing detailed guidelines. The requirement is minimal content.

Electrochemical capacitors are valued for their ultra-fast charge/discharge capability, long cycle life, wide operating temperature range, high safety and reliability, and low maintenance costs.

Due to its advantages, it is widely used in electric vehicles, high-speed trains, aircraft, photovoltaics, wind power generation, and electronic equipment. In the production of electrochemical capacitors... In the production process, the electrode sheet serves as a bridge between raw materials and the device. This is because the performance of the electrode sheet not only reflects the characteristics of the upstream raw materials but also determines... The performance of electrochemical capacitors is determined by the electrode plates. Therefore, the performance of the electrode plates is crucial in the entire electrochemical capacitor industry chain.

To promote the development and commercialization of nanomaterials for electrode sheets, electrochemical capacitors, and their components, it is necessary to standardize product characteristics and... Characterization methods. This document will benefit various stakeholders as follows. for material suppliers, it provides necessary feedback from manufacturers.

Feedback is provided to guide the design and production of raw materials; for end-product manufacturers, a toolkit for assessing product quality is offered to manage and improve [product quality].

This document addresses process control and increases product yield; it also provides guidance for reference testing methods for electrode classification in commercialization and trade; furthermore, this document... This will strengthen the connection between material manufacturers and downstream users.

This document lists the key chemical, physical, structural, and electrochemical properties and measurement methods that significantly affect the performance of electrochemical capacitors.

These properties and characterization methods are not only applicable to electrode sheets for electrochemical capacitors, but also to the construction of electrode materials coated on current collectors. His electrode pads are provided for reference.

1 Scope

This document provides detailed blank specifications for electrode plates used in electrochemical capacitors, listing relevant KCCs, including chemical, physical, and structural... Structure and electrochemical properties.

This document applies to materials with nano/nanostructures (such as nanoporous activated carbon, graphene, carbon nanotubes, carbon black, carbon aerogel, carbon...).

Electrode plates for double-layer capacitors and pseudocapacitors (such as nanomaterial coated current collectors), other electrode plates can be used as a reference.

Furthermore, this document enables customers to specify requirements in a standardized manner and to validate electrodes for electrochemical capacitors using standardized methods. Does the chip meet the required performance?

The characteristic values specified in this document are intentionally left blank, to be determined through negotiation between the customer and the electrochemical capacitor supplier. The customer or supplier may decide... Attributes and characteristics that are not relevant to a specific application are categorized as "not applicable" or "not specified".
