This standard is identical with the international standard ISO/IEC 2593:2000 between "Information technology - Telecommunications and information exchange 34 pins DTE/DCE interface connector and pin assignment with the size "(in English).

This standard replaces GB/T 9951-1988 "Data communication - 34 pin DTE/DCE interface connector and pin assignments." this standard and GB/T 9951-1988 compared to the main changes are as follows.

34 Pin DTE/DCE interface connector

With dimensions and contact number assignments

1 Scope

This standard specifies the interface 34-pin connector and a data terminal equipment (DTE) and data circuit-terminating equipment (DCE) between Contact number assignments, the interface is suitable for compliance with GB/T 9412 or GB/T 11599 and ITU-T Recommendation V. 10 and V. 11 equipment.

Note. according to GB/T 9412 and ITU-T Recommendation V. Between the electrical characteristics defined in 11 may have an interface designed to interoperate within a limited extent Sex. This can be achieved by the following method, which is used in accordance with, respectively, GB/T 9951 and GB/T 9950 or GB/T 9952 connected to the interface Passive adapter connector.

This standard specifies the size of the connector housing and gives the locking device (push-pull screw mechanism) and the connector shield proposal.
