Foreword

This section identical with the international standard ISO 4630-1:2004 "clear liquid Gardner color grading color - Part 1. Visual Law "(in English).

This Part replaces GB/T 9281-1988 "Paints and varnishes - Estimation of color of clear liquid Foundation's paint color grading." this part of the previous version GB/T 9281-1988 main technical differences are as follows.

--- Front line version is equivalent to using ISO 4630. 1981;

--- Scope added tall oil, tall oil fatty acids, rosin and related products;

--- Added turbid liquid treatment;

--- Reproducibility limit (R) value is determined by a number of standard colors 4/3 to 2 color standard number;

--- Appendix B test water from the two water changed at least three water;

--- Adds Gardner color standard solution (chloroplatinic potassium solution) storage conditions and life requirements.

GB/T 9281.1 is one of "clear liquid Gardner color grading color" series of standards, which are listed below national standards Expected international standard and the corresponding structure.

--- Part 1. Visual method (ISO 4630-1:2004);

--- Part 2. spectrophotometric method (ISO 4630-2:2004).

This part of the Appendix A and Appendix B are normative appendix.

This part is proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.

This part of the National Standardization Technical Committee and is under the jurisdiction of paints and pigments.

This section is drafted. in the construction of Changzhou coating Chemical Research Institute.

1 Scope

This section provides the use of color measurement devices, color grading with Chiari yellow or brown transparent liquid color approach. If Other colored liquids in measured results may not be valid.

This section applies to drying oils, varnishes and fatty acid solution, polymeric fatty acids, resins, tall oil, tall oil fatty acids, rosin and related product.

This section applies to color in Gardner color grades 1-18 do not apply to a lighter color than the color level or ratio Chiari Chiari Level 18 color darker product.
