Foreword

This standard is equivalent to international standards ISO 4622:1992 "Paints and varnishes palletizing test" (in English).

For ease of use, the ISO 4622:1992 made the following editorial changes.

--- The standard deleted international standards foreword.

This standard replaces GB/T 9280-1988 "Paints and varnishes stacking test." the previous version of Standard GB/T 9280-1988 main technical differences are as follows.

--- Increasing the number of board cut out from the test specimen, that is cut out from a specimen or two to cut out at least six specimens;

--- Increased if the test is easy to damage the coating, can be directly used 100mm × 75mm size specimen of specified tests;

--- Increased the number of tests the requirement that the test was repeated three times;

--- Added Appendix A.

Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix.

1 Scope

This standard is one of the series of standards for paints, varnishes and sampling and testing of related products.

This standard specifies under standard conditions, measure a single coat paints or related products, composite coating system within the prescribed drying time by filling After drying points, damage resistance between the two when placed in contact with a painted surface or between the painted surface and the other surface under stressed conditions Standard Test Method for Performance.

The intent of this standard is to simulate the conditions to be painted objects stack up to each other.

Note. This test is also known as "anti-superimposition" of the test.

4 Instrument

4.1 As shown in Figure 1, the test apparatus is composed of a base and a freely sliding pressure column components. Pressure column [pressed stigma diameter (50 ± 1) mm] maximum mass of 250g, its lower surface should be in close contact with the upper surface of the test piece.

Note. The pressure is recommended between the column and its lower surface is connected with a ball joint.

4.2 load, suitable for coating and intended to be used for mass load.

Note. generally suitable load mass range of 100g to 1000g.
