Foreword

This revised standard adopts ISO 9843:2002 "Chinese cedar oil." And ISO 9843:2002 as compared to the main technical differences are as follows.

--- Remove the ISO 9843:2002 sampling methods;

--- Test Methods "Common test methods for spices of" national standards;

--- ISO 9843:2002 in the definition of Chinese cedar oil is limited to "essential oil obtained from the Kashiwagi," and this standard of China Guizhou Define Kashiwagi (refined) oil is limited to "extract from the root of China Guizhou cedar oil";

--- ISO 9843:2002 provisions in color was "almost colorless to pale yellow", the color of the standard provisions like the "pale yellow to yellow";

--- ISO 9843:2002 specified in flower arborvitae ethylene content of 1% to 3%, the present standard of 1% to 6%;

--- The ISO 9843. 4.8 Content of this standard 2002 as Annex B (informative);

--- Increased inspection rules;

This standard replaces GB/T 8793-1988 "China's Guizhou cedar oil." this standard and GB/T 8793-1988 compared to the main changes are as follows.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for China Guizhou Kashiwagi (refined) oil, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life.
