3:1 General terms and definitions
3:1:1 car car
Elevator components used to carry passengers and/or other loads:
3:1:2 top-level headroom
The part of the hoistway (3:1:8) between the highest floor station (3:1:3) served by the car (3:1:1) and the top of the hoistway:
3:1:3 floor station landing
Each floor is used to enter and exit the place of the car (3:1:1):
