d) Structure

- In order to be consistent with international wiring regulations, the requirements for the enclosure protection level of lamps are changed from IP6X to IP4X (see 7.1, 2003 version 6:1);

- Changed the structural requirements (see 7.1, 6:1 of the:2003 version):

e) Durability test and thermal test - Changed all horizontal surface temperature limits for luminaires exposed to dust accumulation during normal operation (see 13.1,:2003 edition of Chapter 12);

- Added requirements to introduce temperature limits for glass surfaces of all light sources exposed to the risk of dust (see 13.1);

- Added requirements for surface temperature limits of lamps exposed to dust accumulation during fault conditions (see 13.3):

This document is modified to adopt IEC 60598-2-24:2013 "Lamps Part 2-24: Special requirements limiting surface temperature luminaires":

Compared with IEC 60598-2-24:2013, this document has made the following structural adjustments:

---Chapter 3 corresponds to Chapter 4 in IEC 60598-2-24:2013;
