1 Scope

This part of GB/T 6730 specifies the determination of cadmium in iron ore by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry.

This section applies to natural iron ore, iron concentrates and lump ore, including the determination of cadmium content in sintered products. Measuring range (mass score).

3 Principle

Digest the sample with hydrochloric acid or nitric acid in a closed microwave digestion apparatus, or use hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid or perchloric acid under normal conditions.

Cadmium was measured for its absorbance on an atomic absorption spectrometer and the cadmium content was calculated according to the standard curve method.
