1 Scope
GB/T 6609 provisions of this part of the calculation method of aluminum oxide Al2O3 content.
This section applies to the calculation alumina Al2O3 content can be calculated by dry basis, it can also be calculated as the firing group.
NOTE. Press dry basis calculated metallurgical grade alumina Al2O3 content is generally 98.5% ~ 98.9%; calculated by baking group, metallurgical grade alumina Al2O3 content is generally 99.4% to 99.7%.

3 PRINCIPLE OF THE METHOD
Alumina Al2O3 content analysis and report the results can be calculated based calcined alumina, aluminum oxide can also press into the dry basis Line calculations. Calcined alumina base Al2O3 content is calculated by subtracting from the total content of impurity elements (100%) in. Alumina dry basis Al2O3 content is calculated by subtracting the content of impurity elements and the loss on ignition at 1000 °C from the total amount (100%) in.
Step 4
4.1 using GB/T 6609.30 Determination of impurity elements in aluminum.
4.2 using GB/T 6609.2 Determination of aluminum in water and loss on ignition.
NOTE. When using heavy oil firing, should consider the impact of sulfur from heavy oil.
5 Calculated measurement results
Determination of loss on ignition in accordance with the former sample is dried alumina Al2O3 contents were calculated according to the formula (1) and (2) get on.
5.1.1 Analysis of samples with dry alumina obtained LOI
According to equation (1) Calculation of the content of Al2O3.
W1 (Al2O3) = 100- 100 100-MOI-LOI + LOI + MOI () 100 × (sumI) (1) where.
Quality w1 (Al2O3) --- Al2O3 score (%);
