Introduction

Industrial vehicle accessories and components, as parts and assemblies that are installed on or may be installed on industrial vehicles, enable industrial vehicles to meet diverse market demands.

This document provides crucial support for meeting the needs of industrial vehicle manufacturing, use, and maintenance. Its formulation is essential for the design, manufacture, use, and maintenance of industrial vehicles and their accessories and components.

These steps are of significant guiding importance and will help my country's industrial vehicles, accessories, and components align with international standards, thus promoting my country's integration with the world.

To promote technological exchange and international trade among countries and reduce ambiguity.

GB/T 6104 aims to establish and standardize the terminology and definitions in the field of industrial vehicles, and is proposed to consist of four parts.

This document only covers the terms and definitions for accessories and components of industrial vehicles.

Industrial Vehicle Terminology Part 3: Accessories and Components

1 Scope

This document defines the terminology for accessories and components of industrial vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "vehicles") as defined in ISO 5053-1.

In this document, the terms "accessory" and "component" describe parts and components that are already installed or can be installed on a vehicle.

Appendix A provides a list of accessories and parts for representative vehicles.

Due to the differences between various vehicle types and the continuous development of new product combinations, this document cannot include attachments and parts.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

accessgate

Part of the guardrail that can be opened and closed to allow operators to enter and exit.

The hoisting mechanism attached to the main hoisting device.

Battery compartment

A compartment used to house traction batteries, which is part of the vehicle's structure.

Note. Modular lithium-ion battery components may be integrated into the vehicle's entire frame and may not have the battery compartment described in this definition.

Contact bumper

A pressure-sensitive protection device (PSPD) installed on a vehicle that sends a stop signal when physical contact occurs.

driver's cab

It is a completely enclosed operator position made of rigid materials (e.g., doors, glass) to protect the operator from environmental influences.

Note. If the vehicle has an open side or is equipped with a flexible PVC door, it is not considered to have a driver's cab.

Chassis

The main frame structure that secures the various components of the vehicle (e.g., engine, transmission, lifting device, mast).
