Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This standard replaces GB/T 5746-2001 "Marine ordinary rectangular windows." Compared with GB/T 5746-2001, mainly in the following technical modify.

--- Remove the "fasteners" Terms and Definitions (2001 Version 3.4);

--- Remove the refractory series (P) and heating series (H) (2001 edition 4.1);

--- Remove the appendix "rectangular window opening direction," shifted in the direction of opening the content text (see Table 1, 2001 edition of Appendix C);

--- Revised product labeling and marking example (see 46, 2001 edition of the 4.6, 4.7.);

--- Increasing the main component material (see Table 10);

--- Increased its stainless steel material code (see Table 11);

1 Scope

This standard specifies the Marine ordinary rectangular windows (called rectangular window) classification and marking requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, Transport and storage.

This standard applies to marine vessels above the freeboard deck about cabin deckhouse, superstructure and offshore structures with rectangular windows set Design, manufacture and acceptance.
