Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting:

This document is Part 5 of GB/T 5338 "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Series 1 Containers": GB/T 5338 has been released the following sections are included:

---Part 1: General containers;

---Part 2: Insulated containers;

---Part 4: Unpressurized dry bulk containers;

---Part 5: Platform and rack containers:

This document replaces GB/T 16564-1996 "Series 1: Technical requirements and test methods for platform and bench-type containers" and is consistent with Compared with GB/T 16564-1996, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed the scope description of the file (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the:1996 edition);

b) The terms and definitions of "complete solid end structure" and "complete folded end structure" are deleted (see 3.4 and 3:5 of the:1996 edition);

c) The height limits of platform and rack-type containers and coupling units have been changed (see 4.1:3 and 7:3:2, 4:1:3 and:1996 edition):

7:3:2);

d) Changed the requirements for the strength of the container load transfer area (see 5.4:2:1, 5:4:2:1 of the:1996 edition, Appendix B);

e) Added technical requirements for empty box fork grooves (see 5.9:3);

f) The requirements and methods of the snatch test are deleted (see 6.12 of the:1996 edition);

g) Deleted the specific requirements for the load transfer area of the container bottom structure, the size requirements for the grab trough lifting area and the gooseneck trough size requirements (See 5.9:2, Appendix B, Appendix D, and Appendix E of the:1996 edition):

This document is equivalent to ISO 1496-5:2018 "Series 1 Container Technical Requirements and Test Methods Part 5: Platforms and Benches Container:

This document has made the following minimal editorial changes:

a) Check for errors in the chapter numbers cited in ISO 1496-5:2018, 5:1:4, 6:1:1, 7:1:3, Note 3, C:2:6, and C:2:7 in Appendix A:

corrected;

b) Corrected the error in the fork lift test diagram in Table A:1 in ISO 1496-5:2018;

c) The order of the side views of Figure A:5 and Figure A:6 of the longitudinal bolting of the bottom structure in Table A:1 of ISO 1496-5:2018 has been adjusted:

Adjust so that the direction is consistent with the longitudinal bolting force in Figure A:5 and Figure A:6 respectively;

d) The error in the direction of the arrow in the view of Figure A:18 in Table A:1 of ISO 1496-5:2018 has been corrected;

e) To facilitate understanding and use, the index number description of Figure B:1 in Appendix B has been added;

Introduction

Series 1 containers are international standard containers that are circulated around the world: The standardization and standardization of their design, production, and inspection are crucial:

important: In order to standardize and promote the development of Series 1 container transportation, ISO has formulated ISO 1496 "Technical Requirements and Tests for Series 1 Containers":

"Test Methods" series of standards, my country has carried out corresponding international standard transformation work to provide technical support for the development of my country's container industry:

GB/T 5338 "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Series 1 Containers" is intended to guide and standardize the design, production and production of Series 1 containers:

Production, inspection and transportation, consisting of five parts:

---Part 1: General containers: The purpose is to specify the technical requirements and test methods for Series 1 general cargo containers:

---Part 2: Insulated containers: The purpose is to specify the technical requirements and test methods for Series 1 insulated containers:

---Part 3: Liquid, gas and pressurized dry bulk tank containers: The purpose is to specify Series 1 liquids, gases and pressurized dry powders Technical requirements and test methods for cargo tank containers:

---Part 4: Unpressurized dry bulk containers: The purpose is to specify the technical requirements and tests for Series 1 unpressurized dry bulk containers method:

---Part 5: Platform and rack containers: The purpose is to specify the technical requirements and testing of Series 1 platform and rack-mounted containers:

test method:

1 Series, container technical requirements and test methods

Part 5: Platform and rack-mounted containers

1 Scope

This document specifies the series 1 containers defined by ISO 668---1AAA, 1AA, 1A, 1AX, 1BBB, 1BB, 1B, 1BX, Types 1CC, 1C and 1CX are suitable for platform and platform containers for road, railway, waterway transportation, as well as intermodal transportation between these modes of transportation:

Classification, marking, dimensions and rated quality, design requirements and test methods: Under certain circumstances, containers cannot be stacked or cannot be Lift from the top with a special frame-type spreader:

Table 1 gives the container types covered by this document:
