1 Scope

GB 5226.1-2008 Chapter 1 is replaced by the following.

This section applies to industrial purpose designed sewing machine, sewing unit and sewing system of electrical and electronic equipment.

Note. For domestic or similar sewing machines, see IEC 60335-2-28.

The equipment referred to in this section begins with the power lead-in to the mechanical and electrical equipment (see 5.1). This section applies to electrical equipment or electricity

Gas equipment components, the rated voltage does not exceed AC 1000V or DC 1500V, the rated frequency does not exceed.200Hz.

This section does not include all the requirements (such as protection, interlocking, control), these requirements are other standards to protect personnel from non-electrical hazards

This standard applies to the installation of dry and clean places and sewing dry sewing materials (such as industrial fabrics) sewing unit and system. For

Sewing units and systems used in damp and contaminated sites should take more stringent measures that require agreement between the manufacturer and the customer.

Sewing machine electrical and electronic equipment noise is not considered as a related injury, GB/T 5226 does not contain any noise
