This standard gives a method for evaluating industrial mechanism models within industrial internet platforms. Mechanism models encode engineering and process knowledge in software so that platforms can simulate, monitor or optimize industrial operations, and an agreed way to evaluate them helps users compare and trust them. Platform operators, industrial software vendors, manufacturers adopting such platforms, system integrators and assessment bodies are the likely readers.

It is a recommended national standard, issued on 28 September 2026. Unlike most documents released that day, it takes effect earlier, on 1 January 2027. No earlier edition is recorded, and use is voluntary unless adopted by contract or an assessment scheme. Companies building or buying industrial internet services for Chinese factories, and consultants advising on digital manufacturing programs, can use it to understand how model quality is expected to be judged within the national framework for industrial internet platforms.
