This standard sets out management requirements for the product data dictionary on an industrial internet platform. A product data dictionary is the shared catalog of terms and data items that lets different systems and parties describe products consistently. It is aimed at industrial internet platform operators, manufacturers that publish product data, software vendors and integrators, and data governance teams.

It was issued on 28 August 2026 and takes effect on 1 March 2027. As a recommended national standard, it provides a reference for platform design and governance without being a legal mandate. It does not adopt an international standard. When many companies exchange product information across a platform, differences in naming and definition quickly cause errors, so the way the dictionary itself is maintained, extended and controlled becomes a governance question in its own right. Organizations building or operating industrial internet platforms, or exchanging product information across them, can use it as a reference for how the dictionary itself should be managed.
