GB/T 48107-2026 is the English-translated version of 光伏逆变器信息处理保护技术要求.

Photovoltaic inverters sit at the junction between solar generation and the grid, and they increasingly rely on firmware, communication links and data handling. This document sets out technical requirements for protecting the information that PV inverters process, treating cyber-related protection as part of safe and reliable operation.

Inverter manufacturers, firmware and control-software developers, test and certification laboratories, plant operators and system integrators are the intended users. Developers can use the requirements when designing device functions, and laboratories can use them to plan evaluations.

It is a recommended (GB/T) standard, so it is voluntary unless grid-connection arrangements, contracts or product specifications refer to it. Overseas inverter suppliers selling into China can read it to understand national expectations around information handling in these devices, which is useful when preparing product documentation and answering customer security questionnaires. It was issued on 28 August 2026 and takes effect on 1 December 2026.
