Scope
GB/T 48103-2026 is the English-translated version of 光伏组件风雪荷载计算及测试评估方法.
This standard provides methods for calculating and for testing and evaluating the wind and snow loads that act on photovoltaic modules. Because modules in the field are exposed to wind pressure and snow accumulation, both the load assumptions made at the design stage and the way module resistance is verified are important to structural safety and long-term reliability.
Module and mounting-system manufacturers, plant designers and engineers, test laboratories, and project developers and owners who need to demonstrate that an installation can withstand local climatic loads are the main audience. It is a recommended (voluntary) national standard taking effect on 1 December 2026, so it applies where a contract, tender specification or internal design procedure refers to it. It gives international project teams a way to understand the approach used in China for load assessment of modules.
