Scope

GB/T 48098-2026 is the English-translated version of 电能存储系统用钠离子电池和电池组技术规范.

This standard gives a technical specification for sodium ion cells and batteries used in electrical energy storage systems. Sodium ion technology is an alternative to lithium-based chemistries for stationary storage, and a national specification provides a common reference for what such cells and battery packs should meet in storage applications.
