Scope
GB/T 48078.1-2026 is the English-translated version of 柴油发动机 喷油泵和喷油器低压连接 第1部分:螺纹连接.
Diesel engines depend on tight, reliable connections between the fuel injection pump and the injectors, and this document standardises part of that interface. Part 1 of the series on low-pressure connections of fuel injection pumps and fuel injectors covers threaded connections. Having a common definition of the threaded interface allows components from different suppliers to fit together.
Engine makers, fuel system component manufacturers, remanufacturers and service organisations are the main users, along with the engineers who prepare drawings and procurement specifications for diesel fuel systems. Quality teams may also refer to it when checking dimensional conformity of supplied parts. The standard is a recommended national standard and adopts an international standard. It was issued on 28 August 2026 and takes effect on 1 March 2027. Because replacement pumps, lines and injectors are traded widely, a shared threaded connection also helps workshops and distributors keep a smaller range of spares.
