Foreword

This document adopts ISO 16468:2025 "Investment castings (cast steel, nickel alloys and cobalt alloys) - General technical requirements".

1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for cast steel parts, nickel alloy castings, and cobalt alloy castings produced using investment casting technology.

Note: International standards for metallurgical materials such as cast steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys can be found in the references.

This document specifies the technical requirements for investment castings made of different materials. In case of conflict, the technical requirements in this document take precedence over those cited in the reference document. Accuracy is the priority.
