1 Scope

This document establishes the elements and evaluation index system for the design evaluation of plastic products that are easy to recycle and regenerate, and specifies the values of the evaluation indicators.

The rules describe the evaluation methods.

This document is applicable to the evaluation of designs that facilitate recycling and regeneration of plastic products.

This document only provides evaluation indicators for common requirements of plastic products (including packaging and components). Evaluation of plastic products in specific fields is not covered.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2035 and GB/T 20861, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.

3.1 recyclability

The ability to recycle and reuse plastic products after they have lost all or part of their use value.

3.2 Easy to collect

By designing plastic products, they can be easily identified, collected, sorted, and stored by recycling systems.

Easy to regenerate

By designing plastic products, it is possible to make them easy to recycle and increase their recycling value.
