GB/T 47986-2026 is a Chinese national standard that lists the preferred diameters for the wire terminations, or leads, of capacitors and resistors. It adopts IEC 60301:2012.

The standard provides a series of preferred diameter values for resistor and capacitor leads used in electronic devices. The document is short: after the foreword it has the scope, normative references, terms and definitions and the clause listing the preferred lead diameters.

An imperial wire diameter appendix of the IEC source has been deleted. Issued on 30 July 2026 and applicable from 1 February 2027.
