Foreword

GB/T 4797 standard is currently divided into eight sections.

--- GB/T 4797.1 electric and electronic products natural environmental conditions of temperature and humidity;

--- GB/T 4797.2 electric and electronic products natural environmental conditions Altitude and air pressure, water depth and water pressure;

--- GB/T 4797.3 electric and electronic products biological natural environmental conditions;

--- GB/T 4797.4 electric and electronic products and natural conditions of solar radiation temperature;

--- GB/T 4797.5 electric and electronic products Classification of environmental conditions of the natural environment precipitation and wind conditions;

--- GB/T 4797.6 Classification of environmental conditions natural conditions of dust, sand, salt spray;

--- GB/T 4797.7 electric and electronic products Classification of environmental conditions natural environment earthquake vibration and shock;

--- GB/T 4797.8 electric and electronic products Classification of environmental conditions of the natural environment fire exposure conditions.

This section GB/T Section 64797 of.

This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This Part replaces GB/T 4797.6-1995 "Electrical and electronic products natural conditions of dust, sand, salt spray," and GB/T 4797.6-Compared to 1995, the main changes are as follows.

--- 4.3 increase in the world's major deserts of the data in Table 4;

--- Increased 7, and the original data in Table 9 are incorporated as described in FIG.

This section uses redrafted law revision adopted IEC 60721-2-5:1991 "Classification of environmental conditions - Part 2. Natural Environment Section 5. Dust, sand, salt mist. " this part of IEC 60721-2-5:1991 and its technical differences for the following reasons.

--- According to the data of the measured increase of Tables 5, 8, 3, 5, 8, followed by the serial number to be adjusted accordingly;

--- 6.1 salt spray supplement our data, increased 6.1.3 "particle size" of the content;

--- Increased Chapter 7, "salt fog saline areas of" content;

--- Added Appendix B "sand movement in the gas stream" and Appendix C "sea salt spray particles to land transport and distribution" two informative appendix.

This part of IEC 60721-2-5:1991 compared to the main editorial changes made the following.

--- Remove the IEC 60068-2-61:1991 Foreword and Introduction The increase of national standards foreword;

--- Delete the original IEC Appendix B references.

This part of the National Electrical and Electronic Products Environmental conditions and environmental tests for Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC8) and focal points.

1 Scope

This section GB/T 4797 clarified the characteristics of nature appear dust, sand, salt, and these environmental factors during storage, transport which affect the product is exposed during transport and use. While the impact of these environmental factors often wind are closely linked, but this part is not Wind involving environmental factors, see relevant content GB/T 4797.5.

2 Normative references

The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version suitable for use herein Member. For undated references, the latest edition (including any amendments) applies to this document.

3 Dust, sand, salt mist affect the product

3.1 Dust, sand wind, salt spray and associated products can have an impact on all aspects, the most important are.

a) dust seal into the sealed container or body;

b) causing the deterioration of electrical properties, such as contact failure, the contact resistance changes, the potentiometer track resistance changes;

c) caused by a worn or defective bearings, shafts, knobs, and other moving parts;

d) surface erosion (erosion, corrosion);

e) cause blurred optical surface;

f) lubricant contamination;

g) reduced thermal conductivity;

h) lead the work of the ventilation holes, bushings, conduits, filters, holes and other obstruction;

Static when i) high-speed movement (such as sandstorms), the impact of communication systems.

3.2 Dust, sand combined with other environmental factors (such as water vapor) appears, the product will have serious implications, such as corrosion and mildew.

Combined heat and dust chemically corrosive atmosphere can cause corrosion. In the atmosphere, salt spray would have a similar effect.

3.3 Consider ion conductivity and corrosive dust (for example, eliminating ice salt, etc.) influence.

4 Natural dust and sand environment

4.1 Classification of dust and sand

Depending on the aerodynamic characteristics of dust and sand distinction as follows.
