1 Scope

This document specifies the model designation, requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for spiral-wound oxygen-enriched membrane elements (hereinafter referred to as "membrane elements"). Marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to the production, inspection, research, and use of industrial spiral-wound oxygen-enriched membrane elements that utilize vacuum methods to produce oxygen-enriched air.

For management and other types of oxygen-enriched membrane elements, please refer to the following guidelines.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Oxygen-enriched membrane

A separation membrane for producing oxygen-enriched air is produced using air as raw material and pressure difference as driving force.

3.2 Oxygen-enriched air

Air with an oxygen content greater than 21% (volume fraction).

3.3 Spiral wound oxygen-enriched membrane element

It is made by rolling an oxygen-enriched membrane, an inlet grid, and a permeate grid around a central tube and sealing it with end caps, and is prepared from air at room temperature and pressure. Oxygen-enriched air membrane separation unit.

3.4 Air-to-oxygen-enriched-air ratio

The ratio of inlet air flow rate to oxygen-enriched air flow rate.

4 Model and Naming

4.1 Model Composition

The model of a membrane element consists of five parts. category code GSO, type code S, external dimensions, oxygen-enriched air flow rate, and oxygen content in the oxygen-enriched air.

It is composed of several parts, with each part connected by a hyphen "-", as shown in Figure 1.
