Scope

GB/T 47808.1-2026 is the English-translated version of 航空航天流体系统与部件 术语 第1部分:软管组件.

GB/T 47808.1-2026 — This document defines the terminology and definitions used for all types of hose assemblies in aerospace fluid systems. General terminology can be further refined by adding supplementary terms related to the design, application, or hose/hose assembly material.

ISO 7369 provides specific terms and definitions for metal hose assemblies. Note. Some concepts used in this document do not apply to all types of hose assemblies, but only to specific types; for example, the term "internal conical nozzle".

This does not apply to flexible metal hoses that do not contain the internal conical nozzle defined in this document.

Introduction

GB/T 47808, "Terminology for Aerospace Fluid Systems and Components," defines the terminology applicable to aerospace fluid systems and components.

The definition is intended to consist of two parts.

---Part 1: Hose Assemblies. The purpose is to standardize the terminology and descriptions of various hose assemblies in aerospace fluid systems.

Provides a unified terminology standard for work related to the entire lifecycle of aerospace fluid systems.

---Part 2: Fittings and Connectors. The purpose is to standardize the terminology and tables for various fittings and connectors used in aerospace fluid systems.

This terminology standard is used for all lifecycle work related to aerospace fluid systems, providing a unified terminology benchmark.

Aerospace Fluid Systems and Component Terminology Part 1: Hose Assembly

1 Scope

This document defines the terminology and definitions used for all types of hose assemblies in aerospace fluid systems.

2 Normative references

This document has no normative references.

3 General Terms

Hose assembly

It has hose connectors at both ends, making it a hose that can be used directly.

Note. See Figure 1.

Figure 1.Hose assembly

Hoseline

A combination consisting of several interconnected hose assemblies.

Note. See Figure 2.

Figure 2.Flexible tubing

hose

Flexible tubular products containing an inner layer and typically equipped with an outer cladding, reinforcing layer, or braided layer.

Note 1.The common term for a hose consisting of only one layer is "single-layer hose".

Note 2.See Figure 3.
