This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document is modified to adopt ISO 17949:2013 "Road vehicle crash test procedures - Placement and positioning of anthropomorphic test apparatus".

WorldSID 50th percentile male side impact dummy procedure in the front outer seat position.

This document has undergone significant structural adjustments compared to ISO 17949:2013.A table comparing the structural numbering changes between the two documents is provided.

The technical differences between this document and ISO 17949:2013, and the reasons therefor, are as follows.

---The scope has been revised, and normative references to ISO 15830-1, ISO 15830-2, ISO 15830-3, and ISO 15830- have been removed.

4.(See Chapter 1) Maintain consistency with practical applications;

---The normative reference GB/T 47804.1 (see Chapter 3) has been added, referencing relevant national standards to meet my country's technical requirements;

---The terms "sagittal plane" and "coronal plane" and their definitions (see 3.2 and 3.3 of ISO 17949:2013) have been removed, and "seat cushion reference" has been added.

The four terms and their definitions (see 3.2-3.5) are. "seat reference line", "seat reference line angle", and "three-dimensional H-point device".

Maintaining consistency with relevant national standards facilitates understanding;

---The explanation of symbols for vehicle coordinate systems has been removed (see Chapter 4 of ISO 17949:2013). Vehicle coordinate systems are based on the relevant national standards.

The provisions in the standard increase the operability of this document;

---Added requirements for seat armrest adjustment (see 4.1.1), increasing the operability of this document;

---Added requirements for the test seat posture during dummy installation (see 4.1.6), consistent with actual applications;

---The description of test seat marker confirmation has been changed (see 4.2), and the terminology added in this document is now used directly, which is consistent with the actual application.

---The procedure for determining point H has been modified (see 4.4), replacing SAE J826 (see 4.4.3) with the normatively referenced GB 11551, and adding...

---The requirements for the placement of the locking pins on the dummy arm have been changed (see 5.14) to align with practical applications;

---Added adjustment requirements for the test seat when the dummy cannot be adjusted to the specified position range (see 5.15), maintaining consistency with real-world applications.
