Introduction

GB/T 47769, "Microplastics Derived from Textiles," is a standard for testing textiles and textile products after washing, collecting the microplastics from the washed material.

The proposed standard for methods to address material loss shall consist of the following parts.

---Part 1: Determination of the mass of collected fabrics after washing. The aim is to provide a method for determining the mass of collected fabrics after washing.

Material quality testing methods derived from microplastics in textiles.

---Part 2: Qualitative and Quantitative Evaluation of Microplastics. The aim is to provide a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of microplastics derived from textiles.

method.

---Part 3: Determination of the mass of finished products collected after household washing. The aim is to provide a method for determining the mass of finished products collected after household washing.

The quality of the collected materials after washing is tested using a method derived from microplastics in textiles.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Collected material

The filter device installed on the washing machine outlet hose collects materials (including fiber fragments and non-water-soluble substances) during the washing process.

emptywashingcycle

Perform a test washing cycle without samples using the test washing procedure.

4 Principles

A certain weight of finished products is placed in a washing machine and washed under specified temperature, mechanical conditions, and number of wash cycles. After washing...

During the process, any debris that falls off is collected by a filter bag installed at the washing machine's drain outlet. The collected material is then transferred to a pre-prepared...

Place the filter membrane on a good filter membrane. Weigh the filter membrane along with the collected material in a weighing bottle (the weighing bottle and filter membrane have been prepared and weighed beforehand). Calculate the collected material.

5 Reagents

Water. Distilled water or Grade III water that meets the requirements of GB/T 6682.
