Scope

GB/T 47710-2026 is the English-translated version of 船舶和海上技术 船舶电伴热钢质门设计及试验要求.

GB/T 47710-2026 is a Chinese national standard on the design and testing of ship steel doors that are heated by electrical trace heating. It adopts ISO 24316:2022.

The standard specifies the design, materials, manufacturing quality, testing and marking of marine electrically heated steel doors for use in low-temperature environments below -10°C. It also defines terms such as heated steel door, trace heater and electric heat tracing cable.

Informative appendices give the nominal dimensions and installation locations of the doors and guidance on selecting the heating cable model and arranging the heating system.

ISO 8501-1 is its sole normative reference. Issued on 25 May 2026 and applicable from 1 September 2026.
